The following information will be retrieved from <snap-file> and used to update the store:

• summary

• description

• icon

If –force is used, it will force the local metadata into the Store, ignoring any possible conflict.

Examples:

snapcraft upload-metadata my-snap_0.1_amd64.snap
snapcraft upload-metadata my-snap_0.1_amd64.snap --force

Usage

snapcraft upload-metadata [options] <snap-file>

Required

snap-file

Snap to upload metadata from.

Options

--force

Force metadata update to override any possible conflict.

Global options

-h or --help

Show this help message and exit.

-q or --quiet

Only show warnings and errors, not progress.

-v or --verbose

Show debug information and be more verbose.

--verbosity

Set the verbosity level to ‘quiet’, ‘brief’, ‘verbose’, ‘debug’ or ‘trace’.

-V or --version

Show the application version and exit.
